Pop Music & Orchestrations
Gyöngyösi’s interest in pop music is well known. From time to time he writes pop songs for his amusement, sort of as a stylistic exercise. In addition, two extremely interesting supplementary orchestrations can be found here. Both can be linked to his long career as a basso continuo-player and were created at the request of the famous early music conductor György Vashegyi: the completion of an unfinished Mozart opera and the replacement of the lost movements of a Bach cantata.
